Harry Mitchell hit rock bottom on EastEnders as the villainous Okie continued his torment of his rival. With Harry now completely cut adrift from all his loved ones, will he find a way out from this dangerous situation?

Harry and Okie have been entwined for the past few months, with the pair initially working together alongside Ravi Gulati and Kojo Asare in a major drugs operation that has been based in East London.

Eventually, Harry took issue with the increasing exploitation of Kojo, but Ravi and Okie teamed up to silence him for good. Earlier this week, Harry was taken hostage, with his life hanging by a precarious thread.

Thursday’s (16 October) episode of the BBC soap began with Okie mocking Harry’s current plight, with his mood turning even more vindictive as he gloated about having a date with Harry’s flame, Gina Knight.

As Harry raged at the thought of his love being with his arch-nemesis, Okie deployed an even crueller tactic as he left his captive with the temptation of taking drugs in order to momentarily escape his current hell.

Okie headed to The Vic to meet with Gina, who had shared with Mo that Harry wasn’t her issue anymore after she believed he had gone “AWOL”. His date seemed to be going poorly, though Gina warmed to him after he opened up about his difficult upbringing.

He twisted the knife further and said that Harry was a “fool”, though Gina subsequently explained to Anna that she felt something was “off” with the whole situation. Anna thought otherwise, but Gina maintained that she wasn’t being ghosted.

Harry, meanwhile, began to spiral as his situation dawned upon him. He briefly considered taking the drug to ease the pain, but initially relented. Okie returned and attempted to rile Harry, who vowed to kill him.

“Nobody’s coming for you. Not your family. Not Gina. Nobody’s gonna miss you when you’re gone,” added Okie, with Harry eventually succumbing to temptation as he took a hit to ease the pain.

Next week’s scenes will see Kojo return to Albert Square following his trip with Okie, while Harry’s father Teddy will start to become suspicious about his son’s whereabouts – will Harry be rescued?
