As tensions continue to simmer around Nigel’s future, Julie remains focused on finding the right care solution. Still determined to do what she believes is best, she continues to explore alternative care home options, desperate to secure a safe and stable environment for him as his needs grow more complex.

However, her determination once again puts her at odds with Phil. He insists that Nigel should have a voice in the decision, arguing that where he lives and how he spends this chapter of his life should not be decided without his input.

The simple wish carries deep emotional weight, reminding Phil of the man Nigel has always been.

Meanwhile, Julie makes a heartbreaking but necessary decision of her own. Having taken a long time to even agree to visit the doctor about her condition in the first place, Sam’s diagnosis forced her to confront something she desperately wanted to avoid. Now, as she prepares to undergo surgery, the reality of her situation truly sinks in.
