Look Who’s Stalking: As Bold & Beautiful’s Dylan Ogles Will, the Luna-cy Starts Anew

From the moment that Bold & Beautiful reintroduced Dylan, revealed that she’d run down Luna and hyped up the teacher’s “friendship” with Electra, we were suspicious. How could we not be? It all seemed so random. Now, it turns out that we were right to raise a skeptical eyebrow, because it would appear that the soap is sticking a new face on the Luna-cy through which it just put Will and Electra.

Hands Off My Man!

When in the January 2 episode (recapped here), Electra all but rolled up the welcome mat on unhoused Dylan and warned her to respect that Will is her boyfriend, we thought she was being really nasty to a friend in need. But at the tail end of the half-hour, everything changed.

Hey There, Hot Stuff!

Dylan caught a glimpse of a shirtless Will returning from surfing and, like a good gal pal would, retracted her eyeballs and looked away. For a second. But it turned out that she couldn’t. She resumed ogling the JV hunk with the kind of besotted expression that we remember all too well from Luna.

WTH Is Going On Here?

Suddenly, we thought, “Sorry, Electra, we take it all back. Dylan does give off creeper vibes.” But where exactly is the storyline leading us? Hot on the heels of Luna’s obsession with Will, is Bold & Beautiful going to trot out the exact same plot with Dylan in the Luna role? Or is there something scarier going on?

Is Dylan Really Luna in Disguise?

Some fans are predicting that Dylan somehow is Luna — despite what boss Bradley Bell has said about the villainess’ fate. (Read his remarks here.) And it isn’t like we haven’t been misled by the show before. Remember when it tried to convince us that Finn, then Li, and then Sheila were really dead?

So Dylan could whip off a mask one day to reveal that she is Luna in disguise. Bold & Beautiful hasn’t gone that route in the past like General HospitalDays of Our Lives and even sister soap Young & Restless have. But it isn’t like the L.A.-set sudser minds being farfetched. (How many “dead” patients is Li going to be able to sneak out of the hospital before she’s canned?) What do you think?
