HOTTES NEWS TODAY!!! Emmerdale’s Mark Charnock declares love in soap ‘road trip’ with co-stars

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock was hanging out with some of his fellow Emmerdale residents as they headed over to Scotland for the weekend.
As a long-standing resident of the Dales, Marlon Dingle first appeared on the ITV soap in 1996 when Mark Charnock signed on to do the role.
Since then, he’s had his fair share of tricky storylines including his first wife Tricia dying in a storm back in 2003, and Marlon suffering from a stroke in 2022
In the special episode, viewers learned that April was forced to live in the streets after her original accommodation offer fell through. She then met Dylan who helped her out after she was approached by an older man. Dylan took her to a derelict building and introduced her to Becca who turned into a mentor for her.
April eventually returned home, and Dylan has become a more permanent face in the village thanks to Ray Walters hiring him to drop off drugs.
Marlon is currently unaware that April has been helping Ray and Dylan out in the hopes of earning enough money for them to rent their own place.
Previously reflecting on his time working with Amelia Flanagan over the years, Mark revealed that she is “incredible” and “such a clever person”.
He continued: “There’s so much going on, that she doesn’t say, that’s done with little tiny gestures. That sometimes you can only just pick out because you have to be quite close. She’s so mature and she’s so professional.
Over the weekend, Mark was seen with some of his Emmerdale co-stars as they travelled over to Perth, Scotland. They were invited to support the RSABI charity at the Great Scone Palace Challenge, participating in countryside activities like tractor pulling and bale-rolling to raise funds for Scottish agriculture.
He was joined by Lawrence Robb, Lisa Riley, Nicola Wheeler, Olivia Bromley, Jack Downham, Katie Hill and Bradley Riches.
Bradley took to his Instagram and posted a selection of snaps from their trip, including a few on the bus journey. He penned: “Scotland you have my heart @emmerdale”.
Mark then appeared in the comments himself, and wrote: “Loved every giddy minute. #StopTheCoachGetTheWig xx” to which Lisa responded with multiple laughing emojis.
