A sensational love twist is brewing in GZSZ. Katrin and Tobias are suddenly getting closer again. Could the divorce now be off the table?

The breakup of Katrin (Ulrike Frank) and Tobias (Jan Kittmann) hit GZSZ fans hard. Their marriage seemed to be over, and the divorce was imminent. It’s clear that Katrin still has feelings for her ex, but now there could be new hope for a comeback for the two.

Divorce in GZSZ: Is it really over?

Katrin and Tobias are trying their best to avoid each other. She has already handed over all the professional appointments she had with Tobias to Emily (Anne Menden). Yet, they still cannot completely avoid crossing paths. On top of that, their divorce appointment is approaching.

When they unexpectedly run into each other at the office, the divorce date becomes bitterly clear to Katrin. “See you tomorrow?” Tobias asks his ex. “Of course,” she responds coolly. But inside, the topic affects her more than she shows outwardly.

Love comeback for Katrin and Tobias?

At Mauerwerk, Katrin and Tobias run into each other again and engage in awkward small talk while waiting for their food. Just before leaving, Tobias blurts out: “Katrin, I’m sorry it ended like this with us.” Instead of responding, Katrin leaves. “See you tomorrow,” she says, trying to remain unaffected by the upcoming divorce appointment.

During the tense situation at Mauerwerk, they make a mistake: they swapped their ordered meals. When Tobias notices the mix-up, he brings Katrin her meal at home. Surprisingly, Katrin invites her ex for a shared dinner, and the two get along well. Later, when they face each other at the coffee machine, it almost seems that sparks are flying again. The old familiarity seems to be back. But Tobias hits the brakes and leaves hastily.

Tobias cancels the appointment

Will the divorce still take place the next day? An unexpected twist gives Katrin new hope for a love comeback. “The appointment was cancelled,” Katrin announces, smiling brightly when she meets Emily outside the agency. “Tobias’ lawyer cancelled at short notice. He was at my place last night. We ate together, talked. It was almost like the old times,” she recalls. They did not discuss the divorce at all. Katrin is full of new hope: “Maybe he’s changed his mind? Maybe we still have a chance!” she wonders.

For Emily, who is trying to suppress her own rising feelings for Tobias, this is certainly not easy to hear. Is the next big drama about to unfold?
