But something in particular caught our notice… at every opportunity, the redhead has probed Ashby to give her more information. More specific information about his plan and what exactly he wants her to do.Cane has strung her

along without revealing anything, but unsurprisingly, she managed to cobble the pieces together. As she’s maintained the picture of loyalty to her villainous boss, she’s been lurking and listening, and speaking to others who are also working to figure out his plan.What are we getting at? We first speculated on Phyllis’ true agenda back in July, and now we’re doubling down: Phyllis plans to prove herself to all of the town bigwigs by saving them all from Cane.Why do we say no one will see it coming? Everyone assumes she’s up to her usual ill-advised

tricks by teaming with Ashby, including Michael and Nick, who are sure she’s up to her eyeballs in trouble and will end up in prison. Heck, even her own kids, who love her dearly, wouldn’t have called her becoming an uncaped crusader for Genoa City. But Phyllis’ most recent conversation only confirmed what we already suspected.
