The Eastenders actress Jacqueline Jossa has been left ‘shaken’ after she was sent death threats on social media.
Ms Jossa reported the ‘terrifying’ messages to her EastEnders bosses at Elstree Studios, in Hertfordshire, who promptly called the police.
Hertfordshire Police have now launched an investigation into the ‘malicious communication and have provided safeguarding advice to the 33-year-old actress.
And Ms Jossa has reportedly been left ‘a bit shaken’ but she is ‘putting on a brave face and continuing her work commitments’.
Despite her ordeal, the former I’m a Celeb winner was seen enjoying herself at the Soap’s Christmas party this week.
The death threats come after her husband, former Towie star Dan Osborne, revealed that he had been targeted by a female stalker who harassed him daily.
Mr Osborne, who shares two children with Ms Jossa, said the stalker once created nine social media accounts in a day to shadow him.
A source close to Ms Jossa said that she was grateful for all the support bosses at the BBC had provided her.
