Coronation Street’s Carla Connor actress Ali King has had her say on the big Corriedale crossover with Emmerdale, which her character is caught up in this January Carla Connor’s fate on Coronation Street has been teased amid her hostage ordeal at the hands of Becky Swain.

Actress Ali King has teased the big crossover episode with Emmerdale, dubbed Corriedale. It’s now been confirmed both Carla and Becky are in the episode, with Ali telling the Mirror and other press what fans can expect.

She remained coy on the spoiler front, revealing her initial reaction to the episode as she teased Carla’s fate. After reading the scripts, she was left wondering how they would pull off the big twists planned.

Ali shared: “[I was hoping for] nothing for Carla. I was just thinking what is this, what on Earth is this? There’s no words it’s just one thing after the other and [I was like], ‘how on Earth [are we] gonna do it?

“Obviously I hoped I’d still be alive at the end of it and I got to the end. I was like yes I’m not even maimed, but maybe a little bit. I was just thanking goodness it was Duncan Foster because he is like our best friend.”
