Taking to Instagram to share the film’s poster, he announced to followers: “Come take a trip with us. So excited to share Caught by Love, coming soon to @hallmarkchannel. Dig this poster artwork featuring our two incredibly talented leads @therachelleighcook and @lukemacfarlane.”
The 40-year-old didn’t share details about his character. But the official plot summary for Caught by Love reveals: “While on a journey of self-discovery, a resort guest gets swept into an undercover investigation for stolen jewels that turns into an unexpected and adventurous romance.”
US actress Rachel rose to prominence during the 1990s through projects including The Baby-Sitters Club and She’s All That, whilst Luke gained recognition for his work on the television series Brothers and Sisters, reports the Daily Star.
Emrhys recently posted a photograph from Los Angeles on Instagram, captured on a hillside wearing shorts whilst gazing across the cityscape.
His caption read: “Dream big. Hike higher. Thanks, LA.”
He attempted to swindle various residents, with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) being one of his victims.
However, Rowan’s deceit was eventually exposed, leading to charges of blackmail and fraud against him.
The gripping storyline culminated in a court trial that had Coronation Street viewers on tenterhooks. Ultimately, Rowan was found guilty of his crimes, marking the end of Emrhys’ tenure on the soap and his departure from the cobbles.
Since his exit from the soap, Emrhys has taken on the role of Damien in the series Hollywood Heartthrob, and also featured in the Emmy-winning series The Bay. His other screen credits include Desperate Housewives, Person of Interest, and CSI: NY.
