This update follows a recent episode that left Casualty fans in shock when Stevie Nash (portrayed by Elinor Lawless) was seen returning to work post-cancer treatment, reports Wales Online.
Despite medical advice to rest more, Stevie was adamant about resuming her duties but found herself overwhelmed when a surge of overdose cases hit the emergency department.

Viewers quickly voiced their concerns, with many agreeing that Stevie’s return might have been premature.
One viewer commented: “Sorry, Stevie. I don’t think you’re ready at all #Casualty” while another remarked: “Stevie being thrown into the deep end on Day 1 #Casualty.”
