EXCLUSIVE: ’90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ Stars Have Furious Spat While House Hunting in France—After Fleeing U.S. To ‘Save Their Marriage’

“90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” stars Anthony and Manon Berryman took wildly different approaches to house-hunting in France.

Holding one’s cards close to the chest while house hunting is a common approach savvy buyers take to maintain bargaining power—so when one “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” cast member abandoned that strategy completely and went into ecstasies over a potential property purchase, it left her husband somewhat unamused.

Manon and Anthony Berryman, who have been married for four years and share a young son, Ben, are are one of six couples navigating a move abroad on Season 7 of the hit TLC show, which premiered in September and is a spinoff of the original “90 Day Fiancé” series.

In the upcoming episode of the show, the couple are seen house hunting for a new family dwelling in Manon’s home nation of France, having spent several years residing together in the U.S., where Anthony is from.

Now, in an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode titled “Kicking the Ant’s Nest,” the couple continuously clashes while checking out a potential home to purchase in the small southeastern village of La Provence Verte.

As soon as they pull up to the traditional stone farmhouse, the digital marketing coach and stay-at-home dad are greeted by Kris, the real estate agent tasked with taking them around the approximately $421,000 property.

Anthony and Manon are eager to take a home tour, led by real estate agent, Kris.
Manon’s face completely lights up as she enters the combined living room and kitchen area.

After they exchange brief pleasantries and agree to speak in English so Anthony can understand, Manon vocally pushes for the tour to commence.

“Please let’s go, yes, please let’s go,” she pleads.

Kris immediately picks up on her enthusiasm and doesn’t even finish his own sentence so he can get the walk-through under way.

“Let’s start our journey because I see that you’re—follow me,” he says.

Manon’s face completely lights up as she enters the living room and kitchen area through a door with an ornate image on it and walks past a bright orange wall to get to the kitchen peninsula that’s covered in aqua-colored mosaic tiles.

Behind the peninsula, stainless steel appliances stand beside mismatched wooden cabinetry, and vertical rectangular brown tiles are lined up across the countertops and backsplash. Rustic stones of varying shapes and sizes make up the kitchen floor, which also contains a grid pattern.

Manon not only likes what she sees in the kitchen, but she starts to share her vision for some slight upgrades.

“Oh, the kitchen! I think that I like it,” she says. “You can still try to modernize it a little bit but keeping the style. And, we’re not spending too much, it’s not like crazy expensive to re-do.”

Kris confirms the couple can indeed “keep the style of the house” while personalizing it to their tastes, and Manon can’t wait to see what else the house has in store.

“I want to see more, please,” she says. “I want to see more.”
