In Neil’s jazz lounge, Kyle and Audra are still arguing viciously. Sally’s drawn in when Kyle informs her that Audra’s using her: At least Nate was smart enough to leave her ass in the dust. Audra fumes, “Like the way Claire dusted you?”

Kyle and Audra keep it up until Diane and Jack enter and hear her tell their son that he’s losing Claire to Holden, adding that she’s turned

 

on by much more than his Vespers. As the situation escalates, with Audra really leaning into her theme and reminding Kyle that he was on the bed with her in nothing more than a towel, the Abbotts finally intervene. Jack drags Kyle off to a corner and Diane confronts Audra.Sally tries unsuccessfully to put a lid on the next brewing conflict, but Diane tells Audra she’s back where she belongs… on the street.

“Stay away from my son!” Audra informs the Abbott that Kyle approached her… she apologized to him! Bringing up Kyle’s transgression in France, she says he’s as twisted as his mommy. Diane owns her history… it’s also why she’s onto her. She accuses Audra of wanting Kyle for herself, but she’ll never, ever have him.Across the room, Jack warns Kyle he’s doing more damage to his relationship with Claire by

 

allowing Audra to provoke him. Diane rejoins them as Jack fills Kyle in on Billy declaring war against Cane. Sally, on her way out with Audra, hears and, alarmed, asks what happened.On the phone at the overlook, Billy orders someone to “dig deeper”. If they do well, there

might be a bonus for them at the end. Disconnecting, he muses, “I’m not done with you yet, Ashby.” Billy’s next call is to Sally, who asks him about declaring war on Cane. He pleads with her to meet him… he’s doing this for them. Sally chastises Audra for letting Kyle lead her into a stupid fight. Audra grins… it felt so good. Sally can understand going after Kyle, but Diane?! Audra, unsurprisingly, stands by every word… she was the one who was attacked. Sally buys this and explains that Billy asked her

to meet him. Audra doesn’t see the point… he just wants her back as his trusty sidekick and he’ll drag her down with him.At Society, Michael surprises Lauren with a romantic evening. She’s instantly suspicious. “What is it this time, Michael?” Popping the cork on the bubbly, Michael accuses her of spoiling the mood. Lauren plays along for awhile and then asks if he’s seen Victor lately.Michael tries

gushing about her wedding gown prowess, but Lauren warns that he needs to come clean. She’s sure he’s gone back to working for Victor. Getting emotional, she pleads with him to tell her they’re not going backward. If he lies to her about this there will be no coming back from it. Michael is saved by the bell… or more accurately, a call from Fen.

At the overlook, Sally informs Billy that she went to Jack and Diane and told them everything. Billy knows. He felt betrayed, but realized she was right about his obsessions. Sally can’t trust he won’t go back to Cane if he beckons. Billy claims he just needs her. “Can you forgive me?”

Sally is done with being manipulated and calls Billy out for lying to her about Abbott Communications’ funding. Becoming emotional, Sally goes ballistic on Billy… she put her trust in him and has absolutely nothing to show for it. He wants to try and get them back on track now that everything’s changed. But has it? Who was he calling earlier?
