Brooke finally got Ridge back after months of pining and begging, so she’s not in a hurry to lose him again!

That’s always going to be a fear in the back of Brooke’s mind as long as Taylor’s single and waiting for Ridge to waffle back in her direction.

We’d like to believe Taylor has finally learned her lesson, but there are no guarantees on B&B.

This is a soap where some characters flip-flop constantly while allow themselves to be hurt over and over.

With that in mind, it’s easy to see why Brooke would want Taylor to find another man to keep her occupied.

Of course, Brooke isn’t completely heartless, so part of her may genuinely just want Taylor to find happiness.

Another part of Brooke wouldn’t mind shutting down this competition for good, so the quickest way to ensure that is to push Taylor toward someone else romantically.

That brings us to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) since he’ll pester Taylor for therapy after his marriage starts to crumble.

Some Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) drama will derail Deacon and Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) relationship, so that could leave Deacon looking for comfort and maybe even new love.

Taylor and Deacon could be on the road to romance, so Brooke may be all for it once she gets updates.

We could imagine Brooke playing Cupid a bit and rooting for Deacon to be with Taylor.

In addition to keeping Taylor away from Ridge, Brooke would surely consider Taylor to be a much better option for Deacon than Sheila – especially considering all this Luna chaos that Sheila is tangled up in.

However, Ridge certainly won’t approve if Taylor and Deacon are headed for romantic territory.

Brooke may ultimately say those seven words we hinted would provoke Ridge’s wrath: “I think Deacon could make Taylor happy.”

Ridge doesn’t trust Deacon and may argue that he’s only going to hurt Taylor instead.

Although Ridge hurt Taylor too, he may refuse to let Deacon inflict any more damage.

This could cause some serious friction with Brooke if she feels like Ridge needs to back off Taylor and let her run her own life.

Brooke would much rather see Ridge concentrate on their own future together, but he may struggle with that once Taylor’s growing interested in Deacon.
