Coronation Street has introduced a fresh face to the cobbles, with a new character named Jodie making her debut on the popular ITV soap.

Jodie’s first appearance was during Monday’s hour-long Corriedale special, where the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale dramatically collided in a catastrophic car pile-up.

Amidst the chaos of gridlocked traffic, one mysterious van caught viewers’ attention. A hooded man, later revealed to be Emmerdale’s Graham Foster in a shocking return twist, was seen holding a woman captive in the back.

The woman managed to break free but sustained injuries as she fled into the woods, where she was subsequently rescued by Kit Green.

In Tuesday’s episode, a connection to Shona Platt was unveiled. Both women ended up in hospital following the crash, and pregnant Shona was informed she would be transferred to Wea
