Earlier this year, Becky came back from the dead after it was thought that she had been killed in the line of duty, and she has since gone to extreme lengths to try to win her wife, Lisa, back from Carla. Viewers were given a little bit of hope on Monday night’s episode when Carla broke free after she managed to get out of the cupboard and knock Becky out, but it was short-lived.

As the latest episode aired on Tuesday night, it transpired that Carla had not escaped, and Becky was tying her back up in the wardrobe. When Becky (Amy Cudden) insisted that Carla would be “out of the picture soon,” the businesswoman proclaimed she had no fear for her life because if she was going to be killed, it would have happened by now. It was then that Becky coldly reminded her that she needed her kidney medication to live, and if she withheld that, she would die pretty soon anyway.Tracy punched in the face as she goes too far in Coronation Street | Soaps | Metro News

An ambulance was called, and once in hospital, she told her wife and daughter: “I didn’t want to tell you, but I was attacked. As her future hangs in the balance yet again, fans of the soap will remember that this is not the first time that Carla has found herself kidnapped. They wrote: “The constant focus of Carla not getting her medication is making me very nervous that her 20th year on the cobbles is actually going to be her exit,” and one big fan of Carla and Lisa, who have become known as Swarla, said: “i watched the proposal & breakup last night. Stupid thing to do AK & VM are such good actors that u canfeel the joy & pain I cried & woke up depressed as hell, hoping 4 a happy end.”
