EastEnders confirms Ravi Gulati will face a revenge plot – along with a mental health story for Walford villain

The character has had a whirlwind of a year at the centre of several huge storylines.

Daughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) fell pregnant with vile abuser Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray) baby, before there was a love triangle with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), and a huge drugs plot that is still ongoing.

Strapped for cash, Ravi turned to Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) to supply him with details of a dealer, and he began pushing narcotics around Walford.

For Nic’s son Harry (Elijah Holloway), this had devastating consequences. He’d been asked to store Ravi’s drugs in The Arches, but when best pal Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) found them, he flushed them down the toilet.

The two men were then forced to deal for Ravi, and in his absence, cruel Tobias “Okie” Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) took control of the operation and held Harry hostage. During this time, Harry became dependent on the drugs that Okie was feeding him.

In the aftermath, Okie was killed, and Ravi escaped the repercussions by agreeing to be an informant for the police.
