Elizabeth “Libby” Castravet is opening up about the painful reality of life without her father, Chuck Potthast, one month after his unexpected death.

In an Instagram video shared last week, the 90 Day Fiancé star filmed herself slowly walking the Christmas aisles of a craft store. Over the footage, she wrote, “my temporary happy place.”

Her caption read: “Any ounce of joy I can get, I’ll take ❄️🛒✨ It’s been one whole month, and I’m still just as lost and confused as ever. Who knew such pain exists? There’s this stagnant white noise in my head, and I feel like I’m in a constant daze.”

Fans chimed in, letting the reality tv star know just how special he father was.

“Lean on your support it’s the best thing you could have❤️ take care girl xoxo chuck was a legend,” one said.

A third noted, “Anyone who knew your father feels the same way. He was a good man. He will truly be missed.”

Castravet first announced her father’s death in November, calling the sudden loss “devastating” for the entire family. On Friday, December 12, new details emerged through Potthast’s 911 call obtained by TMZ, in which Potthast’s son could be heard telling dispatchers he found his father unresponsive in a bathtub, bleeding heavily from the chest. He added that he didn’t believe Potthast was alive by the time he discovered him.90 Day Fiance's Andrei Castravet Jokingly Compares Wife Elizabeth's Family to 'A Cult'

Potthast, 64, had often been open about serious health challenges in recent years. In September, he revealed he’d undergone an eight-hour surgery to repair a hernia and collapsed stomach. Two years earlier, he shared that he had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer, but later celebrated being officially cancer-free. Whether any of these health issues were connected to his sudden passing has not been confirmed.
